Farleigh House Wedding | Bath Wedding Photographer | Charlie and Sonny
Wedding budgets matter. Whether it’s a modest do or full-blown stately affair, everyone’s got one. And how you spend it? That’s the bit that tells the story. Some couples prioritise food, or fashion, or fireworks. Me? I’d blow it all on florals.
So when I arrived at Charlie and Sonny’s Farleigh House wedding and saw that flower arch in Castle Court, I nearly combusted. Quietly, of course. Internally. Professionally. But still - blown away. Created by Anna at Pip’s Floral Studio they were lush, romantic, and (joyfully) sustainable, using potted plants borrowed from nurseries. Beautiful and eco-conscious — a total win in my book.
But this day wasn’t just beautiful. It was calm, elegant, and full of heart. Charlie and Sonny are one of those couples that feel immediately easy to be around. Warm, down to earth, quietly stylish. From our very first chat, I knew we were a good fit — and thankfully, they did too.
They were a little nervous about being in front of the camera, so they booked a pre-shoot. Always a good shout — not just to get used to me pointing a lens at you, but to make the most of your wedding photography on the day. And when the time came? They were naturals. Honest, connected, totally at ease.
Farleigh House is a favourite of mine — not least because I’m their only recommended wedding photographer and know every inch of the place. But Charlie and Sonny’s was the first summer wedding I’ve shot there (and one of their first ever weddings, too).
Charlie and Sonny — thank you for the trust, the laughter, and that unforgettable arch. I won’t forget it.
