Can you relate?
“As a woman I feel so much of my time is taken up being there and giving to others. Whether it’s at work, as a wife, as a mother, as a daughter or as a friend. Rarely do I ever have time, take time, and indulge in time just for me, let alone celebrate me – just me – not the person who is wearing so many hats, carrying so many responsibilities, and that’s just scratching the surface.
I’ve seen friends book or be gifted a photoshoot, and whilst to the outside world I’ll say “Oh, I’d never be able to do that on so many levels, it’s not for me”, secretly, deep down, there are times when I wish I could just get over my fears and those barriers, and pluck up the courage to invest in a portraiture session…a womens portrait, just for me – to celebrate me, just me, as I am, with all my curves and edges. After all, isn’t life too short for regrets?”
